Larn Island

Larn Island is the island located not far from Bangkok. It is convenient to travel there so it is very popular for tourists. There are many interesting beaches on Larn Island as follows; - Nual Beach is located in the south of the island. The beach is almost 300 meters long. Coral reefs are rife in this area which makes a great spot for snorkeling. Another special feature of Nual Beach is the discovery of Larn Island mineral ore. It is a black stone with unsmooth surface. Larn Island mineral ore is a sacred thing representing to luck for Larn Island people. - Samae Beach The prominent spot of the beach is the solar cell building in a sting ray shape on the hill which is an energy-saving building. In the future, it will be opened as the learning center for natural energy on Larn Island such as solar cell, windmill and aquarium, for tourists. Samae Beach has distinguished shapes of rock, long beach, white sand and clear seawater. - Thien Beach There is attractive and charming constructions. White sand beach and clear water is the unique identity of this beach. - Ta Waen Beach It is hundreds of meters long beach. There are many facilities here such as convenient store, ATM, souvenir shops, restaurants, etc. Tourists can also enjoy fun activities such as jet ski and banana boat. For the safety reason, officers place noticeable pontoons for dividing the swimming area. - Sangwan Beach The prominent spot of the beach is the wooden bridge where tourists love to take photos due to its magnificent scenery. The beach is not that long but the water is very clear and it is less crowded. - Tha Rai Beach is the beach for cultivating agricultural products. They will be delivered to sell in Pattaya. In the past, islanders made a living by fishing and cultivating. Since the lifestyle has been changed, Larn Island people focus on tourism and resort business. Apart from clear blue water and white sand beach, tourists are able to visit the viewpoint at Khao Nha Yak where they can enjoy a panoramic view. Moreover, Chalerm Prakiat Pilgrimage Zone is also situated here for anyone who wants tranquility, practice meditation, pay respect to the Buddha, and make merits. Therefore, visiting Larn Island will make tourists feel relaxed physically and mentally.
