Wong Amat Beach

Wong Amat Beach is quite private and seems like a closed beach since there is no road along the beach. It is about 1.3 kilometer long beach which supports tourists mostly staying at the hotel located on the seaside. However, tourists who do not stay at accommodations around here can enjoy swimming but it may be inconvenient as there is no public bathroom available like other beaches. Hotels located on Wong Amat Beach are Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, Pullman Pattaya, etc. The name of Wong Amat Beach is called after “Wong Amat Hotel” which was the only one accommodation there at that time. Later, Wong Amat Hotel was sold to Central Hotel Group and changed its name to Central Wong Amat Hotel Beach Resort Pattaya. Finally, it is currently called Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya.
