Khao-Khaeb

Khao-Khaeb is both the main food and snacks of the Tai Lue people. Traditionally, elders and women who have to lie by the fire after childbirth would like to eat rice with Khao-Khaeb because they are considered the safest and delicious food. The wisdom and way of life of the Tai Lue people who have rice as their main food, Mrs. Piyawan Bunla or Phan want to use the rice to process them as snacks or snacks that people of all ages can eat, so they create "Khao-Khaeb". Previously, Khao-Khaeb was popular in the rice harvest season. Villagers will bring rice that is harvested to the Khao-Khaeb maker to transform the rice into Khao-Khaeb. When Khao-Khaeb is finished, the people who create Khao-Khaeb will share one part of Khao-Khaeb to the owner of rice and another part to keep it for themselves. The storage method uses plastic bags because Khao-Khaeb can be stored and eaten for years. Phan practiced and experimented to make Khao-Khaeb in the way that she saw from her grandmother, and then obtained Khao-Khaeb with good taste, making it popular among neighbors and other villagers, both nearby and far come to buy regularly. Since then, Phan has taken this wisdom as a career.
