It is the community’s activity area where comes with delicious food. It is an area for welcoming visitors of Ban Tha Khan Thong Homestay. The first activity that you should not miss is hand washing, an original culture of the community, followed by Phaya Khan Khao Worship Khantok Parade Ceremony, a tradition of northern people popularly conducted since the ancient time. Once all ceremonies are done, the tourists will join the wrist-binding ceremony with a belief that everyone is born with “Khwan”, spirit that supports and follow the owner everywhere. Thus, this ceremony is to invite the losing Khwan back into the owner, and it is believed that this will strengthen your mind. Before having Khantok which consists of “Striped Snakehead Fish in Spicy Sauce with Baked Pumpkin” as the main dish in Khantok, the only one spicy sauce in Thailand that is the main dish in Khantok, together with watching a show about the way of life and cultures of the villagers in the community, until here, if you have never visited here must do so once in your life.
