Lampang Cultural Street Market

The market is located on the old city’s wall. The name of the road is currently Wang Neua Road or Kham Phaeng Mueang Khelang Nakorn, No. 1. So, it’s full of communities with people living since the old age on both sides. There is a majestic archaeological site Chao Ya Suta Stupa, an arch where is the entrance to Wat Kak Kaew (unoccupied). The atmosphere for walking at the Lampang Cultural Street Market is airy, comfortable, and easy to walk by feeling pleasant, unlike others. Importantly, this Lampang Cultural Street Market was from the collaboration of the communities living around it and the tourism promotion of the Lampang Municipality by holding a food market on every Friday evening with the selling of local products, local food, folk music performance, folk dance, homegrown vegetables, and folk wisdom demonstration.
