Sai Yud Market

The owner of the old market was Ms. Pu. It is the only one market of Khun Yuam. The origin of the term Sai Yud (means to stop in the late morning) was that this market would daily open only from 1 AM to 6 AM. The atmosphere is simple that the villagers will sell a small amount of vegetables and food to meat dishes. Some kinds of food are bought from outside the community, including consumer goods. They also forward them to be sold in the nearby villages up to the peak of the mountain, whether it be mackerels, dried food, canned food, delicatessens, flavorings. The trade will continue to 6 AM until the market becomes calm or done as its name Sai Yud Market.
