Thai-Japanese Friendship Memorial
Thai-Japanese Friendship Memorial is a World War II memorial museum built in 2012. It collects and exhibits photos, appliances of Japanese soldiers, and stories of good relationship between the Khun Yuam villagers and Japanese soldiers, as well as the love memorial of a couple, a Tai Yai woman and a Japanese soldier, which is like a reflex of in-depth connection of both countries during the time when the Japanese soldiers were staying in Khun Yuam District before being repatriated to their own country.
