Phutthi Wararam (Kathinglai) Temple
Is located on the side of Sukhumvit road near Kathinglai intersection Nong Pla Lai,
Bang Lamung. It is the first temple to be seen when arriving Pattaya. This temple was built in 1957 in the space of 30 rai consisted of the central sanctuary and monk’s houses. The name derived from the past that there were a lot of calophyllum (Ton Kathing in Thai language), so it was called Kathing village. If you have a chance to visit this place, don’t miss to worship and offer sacrifice to Bra Buddha Nirot Rangsi in emperor posture, statues of 5 first teachers of Bang Lamung, and worship Buddha's relics, Buddhist saints’ relics inside the Enlightenment pagoda.
