Nong Yai Temple
An old temple of the end of Ayutthaya era as it was said that before losing the war there were old monks escaping with King Taksin and went to stay here and had been renovating this temple and name this place as Wat Nong Yai due to there were several big ponds near here. After that there was great flood that affecting even a new Ubosot built in highland, so it was necessary to raise this Ubosot. This temple usually provides religious activities such as crossing under Ubosot, praying and practicing the dharma and also lying in a coffin for changing the bad fortune.
