Statue of King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI)

Statue of King Vajiravudh (King Rama VI) was built by the Royal Thai Navy and the locals for the honor and royal grace he had to Thai people and the Royal Thai Navy. In 1922, he conferred a land at Sattahip for people to build their residence, occupation, and also conferred another land for to the Royal Thai Navy for its base in the present. For the statue itself, it is metal in a standing posture double sized from the real one. The wearing apparel is full navy commander uniform. There are architectures built beautifully around the statue. It is located on Sukhumvit Road if you come from Pattaya city, after the junction to Sattahip District about 6 kilometers, and the statue is on the right hand side.
