Thai Island and Sea National History Museum (Khao Ma Cho)
It is a museum that provides learning about coastal ecosystems and marine resources. In addition to visiting the exhibitions, there are many activities such as coral diving, glass-bottom boat rides, and cycling to see nature. The Thai Island and Sea Natural History Museum is located by the sea in Khao Ma Cho, Saensuk Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province, opposite the ticket office for visiting Saensuk Island. It was established by the Royal Thai Navy as the first place in Thailand to collect and exhibit marine geology, botany, and zoology. It is part of the Plant Genetic Conservation Project initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, with the aim of creating understanding and awareness of the importance of plant genetics in Thailand. The museum is divided into 5 buildings, arranged on a hillside, with a viewpoint at Building 5, which is the highlight of visiting the museum. You can see a beautiful view of the sea from a high angle, of the Sattahip sea and famous islands such as Saensuk Island and Kham Island amidst the blue sea.
