Nongnooch Garden
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden is the global largest and most beautiful botanical and tropical garden. It was officailly opened to the public in 1980. The name of the garden derived from the owner’s name, Pisit and Nongnooch Tansacha. They decided to change the 1700-Rai fruit garden to the large botanical and tropical garden after they went aboard and saw an overseas flower garden.
Nong Nooch Tropical Garden features plants from all over the world. Group of flowers and trees are categorized and distributed in various zones, such as Rock Garden or Blue Garden, Butterfly Hill, Canna Garden, Topiary Trees, Butterfly House, Meadow Garden, Palm of the World, Cactus & Succulent Garden, French Garden, Stonehenge Garden, European Garden, Flower Hill, Bougainvillea Garden, Streblus Asper (Koy) Garden, Bromeliad Display Garden, Pottery Display Garden, Outdoor Railway Garden, Mini Zoo, Wrightia Tomentosa Garden, Orchid Garden, Fountain Garden, Bonzai Garden, Waterfall, Sky Walk and Thai Cultural Hall and Elephant Playground.
Apart from wandering around the garden, tourists are able to participate in various activities provided by Nong Nooch Garden, including sightseeing by bus, elephant riding, animal feeding, photo taking with animals, aquarium, paddle boats, bicycles, Thai traditional massage, and souvenir shopping, such as photo book, T-shirt, and beautiful plants
