Chiang Saen Lake
Chiang Saen Lake or “Nong Bong Khai Wildlife Sanctuary” is a large natural reservoir located in Yonok Subdistrict. It was originally a small water basin, but later the government ordered the construction of a dam to store water, which increased the amount of water in Chiang Saen Lake. It was declared a wildlife sanctuary on April 4, 1985, and has also been registered as an internationally important wetland. The atmosphere is very nice during sunset.
