Doi Pangkhon
Pangkhon village community is located in Huai Chomphu sub-district, Mueang district, Chiang Rai province, approximately 30 kilometers from Chiang Rai city. Follow the route to Khunkorn waterfall, Pang Takrai, and Pangkhon. Most of the villagers build houses on the hillsides and are farmers. In the past, this area was used for opium cultivation. Currently, the villagers have turned to growing field crops. Pangkhon coffee is considered a famous source of Arabica coffee in Chiang Rai, which can generate income for the community. The highlight of Pangkhon coffee is that it is Arabica coffee grown at an altitude of 1,280 meters above sea level. Because coffee that meets the standard of 1,200 meters or more will produce coffee that meets the standards, has a fragrant smell, and the coffee is processed according to the standards of the Pangkhon coffee enterprise group.
