The sacred well (Wat Laem Bo Tho)

The sacred well (Wat Laem Bo Tho) is located in Village No. 4, Ko Yai Subdistrict, approximately 7 kilometers from the district office. It is said that the creators of this well were a monk named Phra Sin Narai and a layman named Khun Wichai Phromsan who traveled from India to Ayutthaya. According to the historical evidence, when King Rama V traveled to the South, during his visit to Ko Si and Ko Ha, he came to the sacred well. The water from the sacred well was once used in the Royal Jubilee Celebration Ceremony for King Rama IX. If anyone was sick and drank water from this well, they would recover day and night. This sacred well has clean, clear water all year round.
