hao Kradong Volcano National Park
is a place for relaxation and studying history, geology and biology because it is the location of a volcano that still has clear traces of an eruption crater. There is Khao Kradong Castle, an ancient Khmer castle that was converted into a pavilion, enshrining a replica of the Buddha's footprint in 1962. There is also "Phra Suphattharabophit", a large Buddha statue of Buriram Province, on the top of the mountain. There is also a nature study trail in the dry dipterocarp forest, covering an area of approximately 1,450 rai, including rare native plants such as the Yoni Demon tree, which is often found in volcanic areas. There are two ways to get to Khao Kradong: walk up the stairs or drive up to the top of the mountain. On the 15th day of the waxing moon in the 5th month of every year, there is a tradition of climbing Khao Kradong, in which Buddhists gather to carry the angsa cloth up to change on Phra Suphattharabophit every year.
