Ampharam Temple

Wat Ampharam has been the temple of the locals in Na Jomtien community for a long time. It relates to the lifestyle of locals through religious rites. Tourists who seek for tranquility and peace can take a tour in this temple. Wat Ampharam is located at Ban Na Jomtien 28, Na Jomtien Sub-district, Sattahip District. Inside the temple, there are various attractive architectures, such as ubosot, sermon hall, monk’s residence, multipurpose pavilion, pavilion for making merits, library, refectory, etc. Wat Ampharam was established in 1946 by Mr.Rerm Rattanaliam and his friends who offered the land area of 16 Rai 2 Ngan and 40 Squarewah for the purpose of temple construction. The construction started in 1941. Wat Ampharam was awarded as the Model Temple for Development in 1976. In addition, Dharma teaching is also available in the temple and it has the Buddhist Scripture School, Dharma Education Division.
