Banglamung Temple
Wat Banglamung is originally known as Wat Klang Banglamung and Wat Wareelom. In the past, there were several temples surrounding Wat Banglamung, such as Wat Setthee, Wat Tha Kradan. Nowadays some temples are deserted.
Tourists will find the new ubosot of this temple which was constructed by the donation of Buddhists. New ubosot is exquisitely decorated with Thai five-color porcelain and pearl-like shells.
Inside the temple, there are many interesting attractions, for example, a big pine which was planted by His Majesty King Taksin Maharat for over 200 years, Jao Mae Takien Thong offering lucks to the locals who pay respect to and worship her, and the gigantic skeleton of a whale in the exhibition room.
