Rong Po Community

Ban Rong Po Fisherman Community is a village where the locals make a living by traditional fishing inherited from their ancestors. Tourists can visit and learn the way of community and the locals’ lifestyles. If tourists wander around the community, they will see traditional tools for fishing, reflecting the traditional lifestyles relying on fishing. Houses in the community are in a unique local style of traditional fishermen. In addition, tourists are able to talk to elderlies and ask about old traditional occupation and stories. They will kindly smile back while recalling and talking about their memories.
