Prince of Chumphon Memorial

Prince of Chumphon Shrine is located at the Khao Laem Pu Chao under the supervision of Royal Thai Marine Corps. Inside the white building, there is a realistic statue of Prince of Chumphon (Prince Krommaluang Chumphon Khet Udomsak), who is referred to as the 'Father of the Royal Thai Navy'. It is the human-size statue in the navy official costume covered with bright gold leaves. There are many tourists visiting this shrine because they do not only pay respect to the Prince of Chumphon for their lucks, but also enjoy the panoramic view of Sattahip Bay from this viewpoint.
