18 Aug. 2016 -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued an announcement regarding adjusting the visa on arrival fee for foreign tourists traveling to Thailand. The Immigration Bureau (Immigration) announced an increase in the fee for tourist visas for single use. For applying for a visa at the authorized channel of the Immigration Checkpoint or Visa on Arrival from 1,000 baht to 2,000 baht from 27 September 2016 onwards, so that the service rate is equal to the visa fee at the embassy. or Thai consulates abroad
